Additionally, he is a certified professional Mediator, having received extensive training at Edwards Mediation Academy (USA). With over 15 years of distinguished practice in the field of Law, Mr. MAKUZA has lent his expertise to various public institutions, serving as a legal advisor. Notably, he assumed the role of Industrial Property Manager at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) within the Registrar General Office, a position he held for a commendable 5-year tenure. Since 2013, he has been instrumental in overseeing all Intellectual Property endeavors at Blessed Law Firm. Mr. MAKUZA has actively engaged in Intellectual Property seminars and training sessions facilitated by esteemed organizations such as the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and The Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO). His commitment to advancing the IP landscape extends globally, as he has represented his nation in numerous conferences and training programs abroad, spanning countries including Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe. This breadth of experience has uniquely equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of international IP frameworks.
